Dr. Josh Russek is excited to join AMC of Chandler and serve you and your furry companions!
His hometown is in League City, Texas where his passion for animals blossomed from a very young age. His four-legged family began with four dogs, then grew to include a bearded dragon, hamster, pig, goat, lamb, and a steer!
He completed his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University in 2018. He then moved to the beautiful desert to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and recently graduated in May 2023!
During his academic and clinical journey, he found interest in preventative medicine, clinical pathology, anesthesia, and radiology. As a veterinarian, Dr. Russek believes in providing the best possible care for his patients and establishing authentic relationships with his clients.
Dr. Russek and his partner love playing sand volleyball, spike ball, and pickleball. He also enjoys hiking in state and national parks, rock climbing, and learning Spanish. When he's not out in the sun, he's playing board games with his family and friends.
